Host James Patrick chats with the founder of Tousled, Kalene Smith, about the art of how to pivot in your career.

Kalene was working for a Fortune 500 company when she left her job to open up her own boutique gym. After six years of outstanding success, she left the gym to open up her own dry bar she named Tousled.

In this episode the two discuss how she has been able to pivot so much in her career to pursue work that matters and truly impacts others. Specifically, James and Kalene discuss the difference between learning and action, how to have vision without preventing the ability to move forward, how to get used to being uncomfortable and how we should transition from working in our business tow orking on our business.

Kalene is also offering coaching to those interested in either starting their own saloon, or growing the success of their current salon through group coaching at – and will also be hosting a live event in 2019.
